Problem:

Upgrading cobber concentrate was the objective at the Brynnor Mine, Vancouver Island , British Columbia, Canada.

Solution:

The cobber concentrate, grading about 50 percent iron, was ground in a rod mill and fed to two Eriez Wet Drum Separators. Each separator handled 75 long tons per hour and produced concentrates grading 64 percent iron.

Problem:

The Meramec Mining Co., of Sullivan, MO, USA was looking for the best way to upgrade their dry their dry coarse ore that averaged about 55 percent iron.

Solution:

After extensive research, they installed four Eriez Magnetic Pulleys that helped produce up to 80 TPH (72mtph) of concentrate at 70 percent iron.
